Will has always loved Andrea’s sense of adventure and willingness to try new things. Andrea loves Will’s kind heart and ability to see the good in everyone. When Will asked Andrea to marry him, she knew there was no other man for her, so she said, “YES!”

The number eight has been a special number for Andrea and Will because both of their birthdays include the number eight. Since Andrea loves the fall, she knew she wanted to get married in the tenth month of the year, and since eight is a special number for them, why not get married on 10.8.18?

Wanting to honor Andrea’s grandparents, the couple headed to the South Fork in May, since many of Andrea’s summers were spent camping with them in their motor home at Fun Valley. This was Will’s first trip to Colorado and he thoroughly enjoyed it; the outdoors and the majestic mountain scenery. Loving the idea of a destination wedding and a way to honor Andrea’s past by reminiscing on her happy memories of the area they decided South Fork would be the perfect spot for them to celebrate their new beginning; simple and meaningful.

The morning of their wedding started out cold and snowy. Typical to Colorado, the weather changed-just in time for their afternoon ceremony. They were married in a gazebo on the bank of the Rio Grande in South Fork, Colorado. Andrea’s dress was custom made by a seamstress in Moore, Oklahoma. In honor of her grandparents, Andrea wore her grandmother’s wedding bands on her right hand and earrings that were made out of her grandpa’s wedding band. LaDonna, Andrea’s mom also made all the floral arrangements. There was a subtle theme of “Orange Power” too. Will and his family are alums to OSU and currently, Andrea is pursuing her Ph.D. through Oklahoma State University. Their wedding ceremony was intimate; only the immediate family were in attendance, including the couple’s beloved dog, Piper.

Andrea and Will, as you’re off on your new beginning in love always remember the adventures you took that lead you to a gazebo in South Fork, Colorado along the Rio Grande.
